I am a fiber artist with a studio and home in mid-coast Maine. I’m passionate about wool and silk, bringing these two fibers together to create endless possibilities for texture and design. Often dyeing my own fiber and spinning my own yarn, I create unique pieces of art that can be worn or used to decorate your home

I received a BFA from Massachusetts College of Art, exploring sculpture and painting before building a concentration in fibers. I learned every technique of creating and designing fabric, from weaving to silk screening, and now I sculpt and paint with silk and wool fibers, which allows me to combine all my interests.

My work is inspired by nature, and I am fascinated with ancient practices. In the past I have been a yoga and meditation teacher as well as a labyrinth builder and facilitator of group labyrinth walks. I love to travel and I’m always on the lookout for the local sheep, labyrinths, and textile history.
